Was it really the nineteen seventies when Elmo was introduced to the world via Sesame Street.?
It didn’t take long for this warm furry red critter with a name like Elmo to walk into the hearts of kids and adults alike, even thought there are lots of wonderful furry animals on Sesame Street, for some reason everyone fell instantly in love with Elmo.
Roll forward to 2008 when the new Elmo Live was introduced and suddenly we had a little guy who was so real kids thought he came right out of the Muppets TV Show. The new Elmo Live was so full of charm he became iirrisistable and every kid from the ages of 18 months to five years old had to have one.
Kids squeal with laughter whenever he opens his mouth, get him to sit with his legs crossed and tell a joke or a story, or shimmie and shake on his back waving his arms in the air. This funny little guy is adored by kids world wide.
Why does everyone love Elmo so much?
Because he is funny; he makes your little one laugh with sheer joy as he tells fun stories and plays games with them
Elmo’s amazing nose: watch your child break into fits of giggles when he gives it a squeeze it and it honks and makes him sneeze
He even blows kisses and when you give him a hug he will tell you that “Elmo loves you too”he will also say “thank you” if he falls over and you help him by picking him up.
Kids love it when he falls over because he says “Uh-oh! Elmo fell down. Can you help Elmo up?” and when your child picks him up he says “Thank you. You’re Elmo’s best friend!”
One of the reasons that Sesame Street has always been so popular with adults is that it has taught children in many ways how to behave and the importance of good manners…If Elmo can say thank you your child is likely to do the same. Parents love it that this little red fuzzy guy is so educational.

After opening the Elmo Live doll found under the Christmas tree on Christmas morning the entire family were in fits of laughter at the antics of this little guy, Scared at first our grand daughter quickly became attached to Elmo and now we cannot wean him away from her.
